WP3 Content Creation and Trainings

Work Package 3 focused on the development of the main theoretical learning content of the NEDLib project and on the training of key librarians.

University professors from ULSIT and IHU developed teaching materials in four thematic areas: Information Literacy, Media Literacy, Fake News and Disinformation, and Gamification in Libraries. These areas were selected because they address essential skills for librarians and adult library users in the contemporary digital information environment.

The teaching materials were prepared in English and organised as structured theoretical modules. They included key concepts, learning objectives, expected learning outcomes and methodological guidance for further training activities. These modules later served as the basis for the development of practical tasks and for the content uploaded to the NEDLib e-learning platform.

The project also organised transnational training activities for key librarians. These trainings brought together librarians from the partner countries and created an opportunity for direct exchange between university teachers and library professionals. The key librarians discussed the teaching materials, shared professional experience and provided feedback for improving the content.

This work package strengthened the connection between academic expertise and library practice. It helped ensure that the learning content was not only theoretically sound, but also relevant to the everyday work of librarians and the needs of adult library users.
