
The Erasmus+ project NEDLib – “Digital Competence and Information Literacy for Librarians”, coordinated by the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies (ULSIT), will be presented at the upcoming National Library Forum, which will take place on October 16–17, 2025, in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The event, organized by the Global Libraries – Bulgaria Foundation, brings together library professionals, educators, policymakers, and cultural organizations from across the country to exchange ideas and good practices that shape the future of libraries in the digital age.
As part of the program, a presentation titled “Information and Media Literacy for Librarians and Citizens (NEDLib Project)” will be delivered by Angelina Stavreva from the Ivan Vazov Regional Library – Plovdiv and Svetomira Vacheva from the Parteniy Pavlovich Regional Library – Silistra.
The presentation will highlight the main outcomes and training modules developed within the NEDLib project, which aim to strengthen librarians’ competencies in digital, information, and media literacy, empowering them to support their communities in navigating today’s complex information environment.
