The training modules on information and media literacy, fake news and disinformation and gemification developed within the framework of the Erasmus+ project NEDLib coordinated by the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies (ULSIT), were presented on October 14 during the National Forum “Libraries Today,” organized by the Global Libraries – Bulgaria Foundation.
During the event, the project team shared the main results and approaches used in the creation of the educational modules, which aim to enhance information, media, and digital literacy among library professionals and their communities. The upcoming training sessions for key librarians from across the country were also presented. These librarians will be trained to apply the developed materials in their daily work and to support the development of critical thinking and information skills among library users.
This initiative is part of the long-term efforts of ULSIT and the NEDLib project partners to build a sustainable educational environment that promotes media literacy and strengthens the role of libraries as active centers for lifelong learning and digital inclusion.
