
A NEDLib multiplier event took place on 12 May 2026 in Ventspils, Latvia. The event was organised by the Ventspils Library Regional Training Centre and brought together school librarians and other interested participants for the final project presentation event of the Erasmus+ strategic partnership project “Digital Competences and Information Literacy for Librarians” (NEDLib).
The participants appreciated the online participation of Agnese Pašāne, Head of the Competence Development Centre of the National Library of Latvia and the Latvian representative of the project management team. She presented the progress of the NEDLib project, highlighting the main challenges, achievements and experience gained during its implementation.
Vita Ozola, Head of the Ventspils Library Regional Training Centre and member of the project working group, shared her experience from the project and introduced the methodological materials developed within NEDLib.
The participants recognised that the prepared resources in the fields of media literacy and information literacy will be valuable tools for school libraries. The event provided an opportunity to present the project results, promote the use of the developed materials and underline the importance of digital competence and critical thinking in the work of librarians and library users.
