On 7 May 2026, a multiplier event under the Erasmus+ project NEDLib – Digital Competences and Information Literacy for Librarians was held at the Jūrmala Central Library in Latvia. The event was organised as part of a professional development seminar for library staff and was attended by 22 participants.
During the presentation, participants were introduced to the project’s objectives, implementation stages, completed activities, achieved results, and partner organisations. Special attention was given to the involvement of the Jūrmala Central Library’s representative as a key librarian in the project, including the knowledge and experience gained through participation in the study visit to Thessaloniki, Greece.
The training activities organised for librarians and library users within the project were also presented, together with their outcomes. The event highlighted the main benefits of the NEDLib project for Jūrmala Central Library, including strengthened capacity in the field of media and information literacy and enhanced cooperation at both national and European levels.
