On 29 June 2026, a national information event under the project NEDLib – Digital Skills and Information Literacy for Librarians was held at the “Lyuben Karavelov” Regional Library in Ruse, Bulgaria. The event was organised by the Global Libraries – Bulgaria Foundation, a partner in the project.
During the event, participants were introduced to the main goals and activities of the NEDLib project, as well as to the four training modules developed within its framework: Information Literacy, Media Literacy, Disinformation, Propaganda and Fake News, and Gamification in Libraries. A demonstration of the project’s e-learning platform for librarians and library users was also presented.
Key trainers from the “Lyuben Karavelov” Regional Library shared their impressions from the local training activities for librarians and users, as well as from the international Summer Schools dedicated to the exchange of experience in the field of information and media literacy.
