From 2 to 4 June 2026, the National Library of Latvia hosted the NEDLib Summer School, bringing together librarians and information professionals from the project partner countries.
The programme combined theoretical sessions with practical activities focused on media and information literacy, gamification, digital tools in library contexts, and collaborative learning. Participants explored topics such as media literacy, propaganda, advertising analysis, and innovative learning methods, including LEGO® Serious Play and interactive group activities.
The Summer School also provided valuable opportunities for professional exchange, international networking, and cultural exploration through a guided tour of the National Library of Latvia and Riga Old Town.
The event successfully strengthened participants’ knowledge, practical skills, and international cooperation, contributing to the overall objectives of the NEDLib project.
