The Final Conference of the Erasmus+ project NEDLib – Digital Competence and Information Literacy for Librarians will take place on 13 July 2026 at Inter Expo Center Sofia, Panorama Hall, 7th floor.
Registration will begin at 09:30, and the official opening of the conference is scheduled for 10:00.
The event will present the main results achieved during the implementation of NEDLib, an Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership in Adult Education coordinated by the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies.
The conference programme includes five thematic sessions focusing on the overall development of the project, its work packages and results; the educational modules created in the fields of information and media literacy, disinformation, fake news and gamification in libraries; the work of the key librarians and the practical application of the developed resources; the experience and perspectives of the partner organisations; and the NEDLib e-learning platform.
Speakers will include representatives of the project partner organisations and key librarians from Bulgaria, Greece, Latvia, Portugal and Romania. They will share their experience from the training activities, practical tasks, summer schools and national events carried out within the project.
The NEDLib project aims to support librarians and information professionals by providing freely accessible educational resources that can be used in their work with citizens and library users. The project strengthens cooperation between the educational and library sectors and promotes the development of digital competence, critical thinking and information literacy.
