Kick–off Meeting in Thessaloniki, Greece – 8-10 February 2024
The Kick-Off Meeting was held at the International Hellenic University/Διεθνές Πανεπιστήμιο της Ελλάδος at the premises of American Farm School. The meeting was dedicated to planning and discussion of Work Packages 2 and 3. WP2: Selection of Librarians included identification of training centers (libraries): in each partner country, according to the project, 5 training centers will be selected (20 in total). The selection criteria are:
− to be a public library.
− to work and maintain an active connection with the smaller libraries in the region in order to achieve maximum coverage and dissemination of the results of the planned training activities.
− to be selected so as to cover territorially the administrative regions in each specific country (an east-west-north-south approach is also possible).
− to be selected in such a way that the training activities for users planned for implementation later in the project to cover and reach as many citizens who need the trainings as possible.
WP3 – Content creation and trainings has 4 intellectual outputs:
- Intellectual Output 1: Information literacy – theoretical and practical parts.
- Intellectual Output 2: Media Literacy – identify the New media environment and how it functions now and then focus on social media.
- Intellectual Output 3: Disinformation and Fake News – adopt different directions and guidelines for different user groups of different ages.
- Intellectual Output 4: Gamification in Libraries – define the categories of games based on the ages of the target groups.
Final Transnational Project Meeting – Bulgaria, 14-15 July
The Final Transnational Project Meeting of the Erasmus+ project NEDLib – Digital Competence and Information Literacy for Librarians takes place on 14 and 15 July 2026, following the project’s Final Conference in Sofia. The meeting brings together the NEDLib project partners from Bulgaria, Greece, Latvia, Portugal and Romania to discuss the final administrative, reporting and sustainability actions before the official closure of the project.
